[ Diet Orange ]Coconut oil has ~90% saturated oil, which is difficult to digest and can cause heart disease, compared to olive oil (~15%) and butter (~50%). Coconut oil is high in calories (168 cal/tbsp.) compared to butter (102 cal/tbsp.). Other known beneficial ingredients such as antioxidant, omega-3, green chlorophyll are also absent in coco-oil! So, coco-oil craze is based on myth or fact? We definitely need more scientific evidences! |
